Alameda Island Running Festival
For 2025 the Island running festival is back to a single day of racing with a distance for everyone!
The entire festival will take place at Faction this year with the Health and Wellness expo presented by Alameda Health Systems inside the old hanger.
As with all of our events, a portion of our registrations and sponsorships will be donated to our Beneficiary Alameda Education Foundation. you can read more about them from our direct links below:

Urban Cow Half Marathon
Join the herd at the 2025 Urban Cow Half Marathon Weekend, Sacramento’s top running event! Start your weekend with a scenic 5K run/walk through beautiful William Land Park on Saturday, September 27, then take on the Half Marathon on Sunday, September 28. The Half Marathon course showcases Sacramento’s most iconic neighborhoods and landmarks, including Capitol Mall, DOCO, Old Sacramento, Tower Bridge, the Sacramento River, and more!

Napa Half Marathon
The Napa Half Marathon is nestled up in the rolling hills of east Napa. Scenic, rustic and winding roads will take you from the start at Skyline Park through the vineyard lined neighborhoods in a charming countryside setting. Locals come out to cheer you on while curious deer are commonly seen along the course! Finishers of the Half Marathon will be greeted with a bottle of Napa Valley wine and all race finishers will receive a custom medal. The race is hosted by Athletic Feat and is professionally chip timed by SVE Timing. The Half Marathon starts at 7:30am. (Participants must be at least 12 years old on race day.)
A fun distance for those who enjoy shorter races! The quarter marathon (about 6.55 miles) will follow the half marathon route on the first of its two loops. Then it will return to Skyline Park. Finishers will receive a medal and a bottle of wine. The quarter marathon will start with the Half, at 7:30am.
Golden Gate Half Marathon
From the iconic rise of the Golden Gate Bridge to the mist-covered waters of San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Half Marathon & 5K is where running meets the sky.
The Berkeley Half Marathon
Take to the streets and race through Berkeley in our big city marathon with a small town feel. The scenic course, comfortable for runners of all levels, takes you down historic Telegraph Avenue, through Cal Berkeley’s iconic Sather Gate and around the beautiful Cal campus. From beautiful North Berkeley and the vibrant Fourth Street district on your way to the finish line, with the community and your fellow runners cheering you on! A celebration is waiting for you in Civic Center Park along with your finisher medal! Don’t miss out on the community, friendships, and celebration this fall during the Berkeley Half Marathon.
